Russian Food

I apologize in advance for the number of pictures here but I am working against the stereotype that Russian food is very bland and consists of only borscht. Here is a little bit of what satisfied my taste buds in Russia:

Russian crêpes with meat and sour cream

Cabbage salad

Borscht! It is really good, trust me!

Meat stew

Beef and cheese, potatoes

Cabbage salad II

Tatarstan pizzas and tea (lots of tea in Russia)

Fruity juice

Kbac ('kvass') is the peculiar national drink of Russians. It is made out of bread but is rumored to not be alcoholic. I liked it for the first two seconds and then a burnt bread taste comes in at the end to kick you in the butt.

Meat pie

Dinner at the Azerbaijani restaurant. The food was excellent.

Mutton and rice

Georgian cheese bread

Spicy and hot! Georgian dish

Baltica #5... They make from 1-7. I tried to sample them all.
